Math IS fun
In regards to the previous post:
Pixie Hollow in Disneyland is outdoors, and, admittedly, more fun. You get to go to Tinker Bell’s house (the teapot Terence is in front of), and you’re surrounded by giants blades of grass and mushrooms and the like.
Pixie Hollow in Disney World is also pretty neat, but not nearly as cool as the other one. Yes you are given the feeling of having shrunk down, through giant trees, a big spool of thread, a pile of coins, etc, but it’s mostly accomplished through painted walls. It is air-conditioned though (super plus).
Both Hollows got an overlay for the new Tinker Bell movie which was released on Tuesday, which included decorations for Fall (see the banner in the other picture) and the addition of Tink’s workbench, which includes some crucial elements from the story.
But last time I flew around the Hollow in Disney World, which was on Sunday, the 25th, no Fall Scepter had appeared on that workbench. (We DO have the sharp thing, though - you just can’t see it because, ahem, Tink is sitting on it.) So I’m hoping that maybe since the movie has been officially released, maybe Miss Bell has been able to find the scepter from her collection of lost things and put it on display for all the mainlanders to see.
UPDATE: Apparently Tink decided the scepter would look nice on display at Disney World, and has brought it for all to enjoy. (Oh yeah, dorky me is very much so going to take pictures.)
